Eight Draft of Double Page Spread
Final Draft
After a lot of feedback from my teacher, I came to the conclusion that my final product was not up to the standard needed for my genre of music. Therefore I went back into photo shop and publisher and created a new DPS with a new image and a new look. I am pleased with the final product as it is more sophisticated and relates to my genre.
Seventh Draft of Double Page Spread
I edited my final draft to have more text to make it more conventional. I also made my pull quotes within the article bigger to fill the space.
Sixth Draft of Double Page Spread After Feedback
I took on board the feedback from teachers and peers and made adjustments to my double page spread by adding another pull quote but as I did this I lost text and felt it was to spaced out. I edited my image as it was unconventional and looked as if my model was floating in mid air. I chose to put a border round my pull quote on the left hand side to make it stand out more to the reader. I also added Q's and A's to my double page spread to make it clear what type of interview the article is.
Fifth Draft of Double Page Spread
For my fifth draft I made the introduction paragraph of my article bold as it gives an insight into the artist and her background this makes it stand out to the rest of the text which is conventional of top music magazines.
Fourth Draft
My fourth draft I kept the same as my third draft as I liked the layout and thought it attracted attention but I added page numbers to the bottom to make it more conventional and to make it look realistic and professional.
Third Draft
In my third draft of my DPS I made the text smaller and pulled it down so that I could fit in a header of Nadines name so that it stood out to the reader and this gave them a clear understanding of who the article is about. I also added another quote to use on the left hand side which looks like it has come from a newspaper.
Second Draft of DPS
In my second draft I added a pull quote to the text to make the text more conventional and including a pull quote attracts readers as it is a short story of the answer within the article. Again I needed to add more to the Double Page Spread to make it stand out and be more conventional.
First Draft of DPS
My first draft looked very plain and wasn't very conventional to a music magazine it needed page numbers adding on to it so that it connected with the contents page. I also needed more about the main artists as from this the reader wouldn't know who this artist is at first glance.
