I have researched many college magazine covers and came across this one on google images. Aswell in this example the heading is big and bold in a deep red colour which will again stand out to its intended audience. It suddenly grabs students who attend colleges attention. The girl in the picture is also wearing a red top which is almost the same red as the heading this could be to do with the fact the college she attends is a red colour scheme but red can also conote as a fun and vibrant colour which may portray the colleges image. The publisher has used headings which are bold in black and blue to stand out on the green background. I have also noticed that college magazine dont have prices near the barcode so therefore may not have an intended price but may give them out every so often around college. When designing my magazine I may take into account that is is aimes at students who may or may not ave the money to buy magazines.
