Contents Page Drafts and Final Draft

Draft One
This is my first draft of my contents page. I used pictures in there normal colours which I felt was too simple. I also forgot to add a page number to this draft and I didn't like the layout I had used making it look unprofessional.

Draft Two
This is my second draft that I started from scratch which was a completely different idea to my first draft. This contents page had more colour with boxes and bugger images. The font I used on this draft let it down as it was uneasy to read and this wouldn't attract the reader.

 Draft Three
On my third draft I then went back on to using my first original idea and started moving the images and font around. As you can see I have left the masthead as it is I think this is appropriate for my contents page. Again I forgot a page number and felt it was again too simple and plain with spaces that needed filling. I changed the font back to the original I used in my first draft as it was easier to read.

Fourth Draft
For my fourth draft I made the pictures bigger to fill the contents page and also take inspiration from top of the pops by adding in the front cover image to further advertise but it also reinforces that the continuity of who the main article within the magazine is about.

Fifth Draft

This is my fifth draft for my contents page. After taking into consideration my teachers feedback and using the advice she gave me I went back and improved my Contents Page by adding another column and  more articles as well as clear writing against the pictures.

Sixth Draft
On my Sixth and final Draft I added just the date of  my magazine at the bottom as this will consist throughout as the page numbers change and then I took inspiration from the Q magazine I analysed and added a heading of 'cover story' to further reinforce the article and promote it more than the other articles.

  1. The positive sides of your content page are that you have used the title of content and your magazine masthead in bold and capital letters what makes it stands out from the rest. Also, the way in which you had include your pictures is matching with the articles. Re to the images, they are looking nice and as they are working with each other. However, the negatives of your contents page are presented by the way in which you had include text below the main headings of your articles, in the reason that is to large and you could include a little more.
